For those living with diabetes, the rapidly changing situation around the Coronavirus (COVID-19) is a very overwhelming and uncertain time.

Below are some useful resources that include advice specific to those living with diabetes:

  • Diabetes UK: Advice for people living with diabetes

We also recommend that those living with diabetes closely following the guidance provided by the government and the NHS:

  • NHS: Coronavirus Overview

  • GOV.UK: UK government response

*** Please note, all of these resources are being constantly updated so make sure to keep referring back to them.

If you are struggling to cope with your symptoms, contact NHS 111 online or by phone.

Wellbeing Support

Your physical health is important, but so is your mental health and wellbeing, especially with what’s going on at the moment.

Dr Rose Stewart, in collaboration with the Wrexham Young Adult Diabetes Service (BCUHB, NHS Wales) has created some really useful resources about diabetes and wellbeing.
