Patient feedback shapes new diabetes service

The North East Essex Diabetes Service (NEEDS), which began operation in April 2014, has published a patient feedback report following a number of successful patient engagement events in Colchester, Clacton, Harwich, Jaywick and Walton-on-Naze. The events, which were attended by over 150 people with diabetes, allowed patients to voice their opinions and have a say about what they would like to see from the new service.

Julie Smith, Operations Director at Suffolk GP Federation, which provides the NEEDS service said: “We would like to thank everyone that came along to the five patient engagement events. The report shows how we have used the feedback from these events to help shape the NEEDS service for the benefit of our diabetes patients.”
